What does ‘Organic’ mean when it comes to skincare? That is the question! There is so much confusion out there between: Organic, Certified Organic, Made with Organic ingredients, Natural, All Natural, Vegan, etc.
To start, there is a big difference between statements such as “made with organic or natural ingredients’ versus a truly organic product that is grown, harvested and processed organically.
The purpose of this blog, is to focus on how RAACINE’s products are Organic, and qualify for the best in class USDA ORGANIC Certification.
The USDA ORGANIC certification, is the ONLY government regulated standard that governs producers of ORGANIC food and ORGANIC personal health care products.
We are proud that the forests where our products are derived, follow the strictest of regulations to meet the National Organic Program (NOP) standards, and are USDA ORGANIC certified! These strict standards include things such as:
As you can see from the graphic, RAACINE’s products fall into the top 2 categories:
USDA ORGANIC Certified where 95% or more, of all ingredients qualify under the National Organic Program; and
RAACINE MEDI ORGANIC where at least 70% of ingredients are certified organic, combined with medical grade ingredients such as Hyaluronic acid* and Peptides*.
*While both Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides are natural substances, they don’t currently qualify under the National Organic Program for the certification process. The reason why we include these ingredients in some of our products, is these ingredients are known for their ability to nourish, hydrate and protect the skin which translates into some wonderful anti-aging results such as increasing collagen and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
We look forward to you trying any of our RAACINE products which are grown, harvested and processed under the strictest of standards, so you can feel comfortable and confident with what you are putting on your skin!
